On 23 September, Gonçalo Lourinho, HyFuelUp coordinator, will participate in the Final Event of the sister project SEMPRE-BIO (SEcuring doMestic PRoduction of cost-Effective BIOmethane), taking place in Barcelona and online.
After four years of research and demonstration activities, the event will present SEMPRE-BIO’s main results and bring together researchers, industry representatives and other stakeholders to discuss the future of biogas and biomethane in Europe.
Gonçalo Lourinho will represent HyFuelUp project in a roundtable bringing together several Horizon Europe projects working on biomethane. These projects will share experiences and discuss common challenges in developing and implementing biomethane demonstration technologies.
HyFuelUp has collaborated with its sister projects since the start of the project, exchanging knowledge and experience and working together to identify innovative, accessible, and more efficient pathways for biomethane production. The participation in the SEMPRE-BIO Final Event provides another opportunity to continue this exchange and discuss lessons learned from the different demonstration projects.
